Edward Ritter Scholarship
The Edward Ritter Scholarship is designed to extend the Charlotte Preparatory School educational experience to students who could benefit from it but who might otherwise not have the opportunity to attend the school. As such, the scholarship is both an academic and a financial need-based award. This is congruent with a crucial part of the school’s mission to provide a diverse, inclusive community for students and families.
Annually, one student new to Charlotte Prep will be awarded free tuition and up to $1,000 toward school-related expenses or fees (i.e. computer fees, books, class trips).
The scholarship will be renewed annually through 8th grade provided the recipient(s) sustain good academic performance, and behaviorally uphold the Four Pillars of Leadership upon which the Charlotte Prep culture is based.
