  • Middle School Math Teacher

    The Middle School mathematics teacher will have the primary responsibility for planning, programming, and teaching a minimum of 4 sections of middle school math in alignment with Middle School curricular objectives; the courses involved could range from 5th-grade math through Algebra. Additionally, the teacher will be responsible for evaluating and reporting for all students in his or her classes. He or she will be responsible for establishing a positive, encouraging, appropriate relationship with students in which they are both held to high standards and supported in their attempts to meet them.   • Head Coach - Cross-Country

    Charlotte Prep is seeking a person with a passion for running to fill the position of cross-country head coach. Charlotte Prep has a rich tradition of great runners and our school regularly competes for conference championships. Candidates must be available during after school hours (approximately 3:30-5:30 p.m.). Self-starters and individuals who can help run meets are strongly preferred, as is experience working with middle school-age student-athletes.   • Head Coach - Girls Volleyball

    Charlotte Prep is seeking a qualified individual to coach and manage our middle school girls volleyball program. The program will begin in early August and end in late October. Candidate must be available during after school hours (3:30-5:00 p.m.) for practices and in the evenings for games. Experience working with middle school-age players is preferred.   • Fall Assistant Coaches

    The Charlotte Prep Athletic Department is always looking for people to work with our student-athletes in an assistant coaching role. This fall, we are seeking persons qualified to help coach boys soccer, girls volleyball, cross-country, and girls tennis.   • Lower School Spanish Teacher

    This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated individual to be a significant contributor to an outstanding faculty. A love of students and complete dedication to their success, combined with a passion for the Spanish language and culture, effective professional skills, a positive, team-centered personality, and a dedication to life-long learning are all necessary for teaching success at Charlotte Prep.   • The Montessori Early School at Charlotte Preparatory School is growing! We are currently seeking an Early Childhood Certified teacher to lead children ages 3-6 during afternoon activities, for the 2017-18 School Year. Extended Day teachers are considered full-time employees, with a general schedule from 12-6 pm daily, with certain longer full-time days required, in a school that offers a year-round option to families. We are expanding our Pre-Primary (Older Toddlers) Program, adding a second classroom for the new school year. Montessori Certification is required, preferably Toddler level, but 3-6 level considered.
