A Caring Environment
If you talk to one of our students they’ll probably tell you Charlotte Prep feels less like a school and more like home. And with good reason: our intimate campus and learning environment creates a close-knit group of learners that feels just like family.
An Inclusive Environment
A typical student at Charlotte Prep? There’s no such thing. Charlotte Prep offers students an opportunity to grow in a culturally diverse educational community. We’re motivated by the belief that in a global society, diverse classrooms are critical to a well-rounded education.
By exposing all of our students to a multicultural and global outlook, we build a globally aware (and culturally sensitive) generation of leaders.
All Charlotte Prep students study Spanish starting in Transitional-Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
Charlotte Prep hosts heritage assemblies and socials. Annual Holidays Around the World celebrations bring families and area experts together to explore and appreciate the many cultures represented within our vibrant community.
The School has a multicultural coordinator, and parents are regular visitors to our classrooms to share their cultural backgrounds and unique traditions.
Charlotte Prep has enjoyed exchange programs with Centro De Estudios Universitarios Adolfo López Mateos in Ocotlán, Mexico, and the International School of Trieste in Italy. Charlotte Prep students visited the schools and stayed with families there, or hosted students from our partner schools in their homes.
